Boulazac manages, through wear and tear, to win against Saint-Chamond and take the lead in the championship

The Boulazac Basket Dordogne players learned from the mistakes made in the first quarter of the match against Fos-sur-Mer. They have the opportunity to prove it Tuesday December 3 at 8 p.m. at the Palio, because the BBD won 87-73 against Saint-Chamond-Andrezieux as part of the late match of the 11th day of Pro B. With this victory, Boulazac overtakes and Orléans and occupies the lead in the championship.

The first quarter of the BBD is the opposite of that experienced against Fos-sur-Mer, because the Boulazacois started the game wonderfully, leading by more than 10 points after a few minutes of play. Building on their start to the match, Alexandre Ménard's players relax and see the evening's opponent return. After 10 minutes of play, the BBD leads 21-17.

Note in this first quarter, the first minutes of Lucas Demahis-Ballou and even his first points of the season. The second quarter started well for the BBD, but, once again, Alexandre Ménard's players were unable to take cover. At the break, Boulazac Basket Dordogne leads 46-40 against Saint-Chamond.

In a false rhythm, Boulazac sees his opponent return little by little, without really reacting. 2 minutes from the end of the third quarter, Saint-Chamond came back to the point of equalizing, 59 all. It is Lucas Demahis Ballou, just recovered from his injury, who proves all his potential. After 30 minutes of play, the BBD slightly holds the lead 62-59.

As often since the start of the season, the BBD shifted gears in the last quarter with a great Clément Cavallo at the start and then, the executives Krubally, Robineau and Suka Umu followed the captain. A final quarter that was pleasant to watch and which resulted in an 87-73 victory.
