The Prime Minister is at the heart of a political stormafter the activation of 49.3 on the Social Security budget (PLFSS) without a vote. Following this decision, two motions of censure were filed against the government. The New Popular Front and the National Rally are determined to voter. On TF1 and France 2, Michel Barnier judged again “possible“that his government is not overthrown. He also ruled out a new candidacy for Matignon in the event of a vote on the motion of censure.”I want to serve (…) what does that mean if I fall tomorrow they find me there as if nothing had happened?“replied the Prime Minister.
Gilles Bouleau then asked the statesman: “if it was necessary to quantify, give a percentage, How much do you estimate your chances of survival? politics tomorrow?“. A question which clearly displeased Michel Barnier. “But Mr. Birch, it's not a question of political survival for me. You know, I've been in this office for three months, almost to the day, I arrived there telling myself that I could leave the next day Morning. The political situation is so complicated.
