Jean-Paul Matteï, MoDem deputy calls for responsibility while the government is threatened with censorship

The Prime Minister is threatened with censorship after drawing 49.3 this Monday, December 2, which is regretted by the Modem deputy who considers that this is not the time given the importance of the budget vote for . He calls for the responsibility of parliamentarians.

According to everyone's statements, the Barnier government should fall, believes the Modem deputy, since the Prime Minister triggered 49.3 to have the Social Security budget adopted and the left and the National Rally announced a motion to censorship Wednesday or Thursday.

:”I regret it, I think it is irresponsible at the moment whether it is on the part of the RN, France Insoumise and the Socialists, because I recall that Michel Barnier was appointed to try to put in place a budget, both a draft budget in the finance bill and then a draft financing of social security and that there was a joint joint commission between the Assembly and the Senate on which we focused is put Okay, we parliamentarians which is quite rare”, explains the Béarnais MP. He continues: “this is an emergency text. It is irresponsible to play political politics at this moment”
The Béarnais appeals to the socialists and part of the left who are not obliged, he says, to vote for censorship.

Jean-Paul Matteï says he is worried but considers that we will be able to bounce back because he maintains that exchanges between deputies exist and that compromises are possible. For him the solution of Emmanuel Macron's resignation is not one “we must try to come together together to build” concludes the modem deputy.
