The Cerfs de Thonon will face the Dauphins of Villard Bonnot on December 14. Spectators will be invited to throw stuffed animals onto the field.
Saturday December 14, at 7 p.m., the roller hockey team from the capital of Chablais will face the Villard Bonnot Dauphins in a match counting for the French National Division 3 championship, at the Thonon sports center. Entrance will be free.
On this occasion, the Cerfs de Thonon invite spectators to go to the match with stuffed animals, which they will have to throw onto the field as soon as the local team has scored its first goal. The stuffed toys collected will be donated to Secours Populaire du Chablais.
Current leaders of the ranking, the Cerfs will host the team that bears its name aptly, since Villard Bonnot is to date the runner-up to Thonon, in second place.
Spectacular sport inspired by ice hockey, roller hockey is practiced in the capital of Chablais in all age categories and allows mixed and female practice. The club on the banks of Lake Geneva is particularly renowned for the quality of its training which has already enabled many of its young graduates to reach the highest level, including joining the French team for some of them.
