With Wearh Group, Poralu Marine takes a new turn

The company Poralu Marinewhich is celebrating its 40th this yeare birthday, structures its activities by giving birth to Wearth Group.

Over the years, the family industrial SME established in Port (Ain), initially specializing in the construction of ports et marinashas broadened its areas of expertise to manufacturing of nautical productsto the design of aluminum land walkwaysthe installation of floating solar platforms… up to 13 companies and eight brands.

“Wearth Group, a contraction of water and earth but also we are earth, oversees our various activities and gives us more visibility on the market to support the group’s ambitions”explains Olivier Bracon, deputy general director.

Wearth Group (Poralu Marine) plans to open a factory in Indonesia within 18 months

Because the group chaired by Laurent Gasiglia has great prospects. Wearth Groupwhich employs 150 people and achieves 40 million euros in turnover, 80% of which outside , plans to multiply your turnover by ten and its workforce within 10 years.

To achieve this objective, the group plans to increase its strength in the area Asia-Pacific which today only accounts for 10% of activity.

“It’s a real source of growth for the Wearth Marine division”indicates Olivier Bracon. So much so that Wearth Group will open in about 18 months a factory in Indonesia to complete its production sites in France and Canada.

“This factory, which should be located near Jakarta, will allow us to be close to customers and have a low carbon footprint to serve this area”underlines the deputy general director who adds that the American market with its 14 000 marinas also has significant potential.

An organization in three divisions: Weatherth Marine, Weatherth Land and Weatherth Energy

At the same time, the divisions Wearth Land et Wearth Energypositioned on more recent activities, are set to grow.

Bringing together offers, products and services directly linked to the terrestrial environment such as pedestrian bridges and the water-independent plantersWearth Land responds to land use planning challenges while respecting the environment.

Activities promised to see strong development, just like those of Wearth Energy turned towards the renewable energies. These skills, at first glance disparate, have a common denominator. “As an industrialist with a positive impact, our mission is to enable people to live in harmony with their ecosystems”confirms Olivier Bracon.
