This news comes more than a week after a vast movement of student strikes across Quebec in solidarity with Palestine.

Remember that the management of Dawson College decided to close its campus on November 21, fearing excesses during this day of mobilization.

According to our information, Minister Déry, under article 29 of the Act respecting general and vocational colleges, designates officials from the Investigation Department so that they examine the administrative management of any situation occurring in these two establishments.

“The climate in certain CEGEPs is becoming more and more toxic. The situation is getting worse and incidents are piling up. Hateful speech from students who are intimidated and who fear for their safety,” wrote Pascale Déry in a recent publication on the social network X.
