Fate befalls the hotel-restaurant “Ici M’aime”. The establishment located on Route de Paris in Rouvray (Côte-d'Or) was largely affected by a fire that occurred around 6 a.m. this Tuesday, December 3 in the morning.
Côte-d'Or firefighters intervened this Tuesday to extinguish the flames which were ravaging the building. As the establishment is located a few kilometers from the border with Yonne, Icaunais firefighters also intervened in support. In all, 28 firefighters and twelve engines were still battling the blaze at 6 a.m. this morning.
The hotel restaurant was closed and unoccupied at the time of the incident. Also, the Côte-d'Or departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS) was able to confirm that no person was present inside that night.
The establishment had already been temporarily closed for a period of work to repair the damage from another fire which occurred on November 11. The business was reopened on November 22.
For the moment, the circumstances of the incident are unknown and it is impossible to say whether the two events are linked.
