Saturday December 7 from 8 p.m., the Salle des Mousquetaires de la Tour de Termes will host the second Trouba’Tour evening and, it is a burlesque show based around music, “Barbaric Piano” which will delight the public. Karine, actress and musician will perform covers and personal compositions. She tries her hand at the Piano Bar, delights us with some pieces loved by all but quickly drowned in words to know by heart, she chooses to show us her true face. Revealing without artifice her innate gift for setting fires, she questions her presence on stage by singing anything and everything: thus, letting her hands run over her pianos, defying the limits of the absurd, and all in self-deprecation, she improvise into yogurt. This universal language adapts perfectly to what she aspires to, remains her favorite means of expression, only through emotion and energy. Because for her, words imprison music in ideas and leave too little room for the imagination. She lets herself be carried and carried away by her voice, which seems an entity in its own right. As a musical UFO, she takes us into her vibration, a war machine working for peace. And, in a vortex of all styles combined, trained and possessed, here we are, singing and dancing, defying time. Leaving our hearts full, out of breath from having laughed so much, amazed by all this sharing, this question is also ours now: who is Karine, is she a witch, who is this voice? She ultimately relies on her audience to elucidate this mystery.
The show will start at 9 p.m. (entrance €8 and €6 reduced) but you will be able to eat beforehand. Information and reservations on 05 62 69 25 12 or www.tourdetermes.org
