votes are open – PlayStation Blog in French

After a year full of releases, today we celebrate the best PlayStation games. For the occasion, we invite you to vote for your favorite games of the year: votes for the 2024 PS Blog Game of the Year award are now open!

We would like to highlight the exemplary work of studios around the world in these 19 categories. Incredible gameplay, memorable characters, exceptional artistic direction, action-packed soundtracks and more: help us honor the creators whose work and talent have made possible the craziest video game experiences of This year.

For each category, the selection is quite comprehensive, but you can always add a game that you think better represents the category in question for that year. As always, only player votes count. The games with the most votes will receive a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum trophy within a few weeks.

As always, a few rules apply to categories and nominees:

  • The Best PS5 Game category is for games released during the year, not titles that have already been released and have been updated.
  • As with the majority of other categories, the Best Multiplayer Experience category focuses only on games released in 2024. The Best Persistent Game category focuses on titles that received a large amount of new content or significant updates over the twelve recent months.
  • The Best New Release category is for games that have been upgraded, ported, or remastered, while remaining similar to the original games. This category does not include remakes of older titles, which will be represented in other categories.
  • The deadline to be one of this year's nominees is November 30. Games released after this date are not eligible. However, they may be nominated for next year.

We invite you to vote below to support your favorite games and developers. Don't wait too long: voting closes next Saturday, December 14 at 8:59 a.m. CET. Go to the bottom of the page to make your voice heard.

Good luck to all nominees!
