Fifteen weeks of wonderful encounters, love, sometimes misunderstandings and twists and turns. The 12 farmers of this season 19 of Love is in the meadow delivered their last confidences to Karine Le Marchand, before definitively closing this chapter and letting the cameras go. Since the broadcast of their portraits in January, we have been impatiently waiting to follow their romantic adventures, which were, for some, the very first. After opening the letters, the speed dating, the stay on the farm and the stay with the suitor, who found love on the show?
Valentin, in a relationship with Flavie
The youngest of the season arrived last week, accompanied by Flavie, his former suitor. Between them, it had been a match since the speed dating and their attraction was confirmed during the stay on the farm, putting Ilona on the sidelines from the second day, by the farmer's own admission. If all the signals seemed green for the young couple, Valentin and Flavie had to face an ordeal, that of illness. Operated on a tumor before the start of the show, the young woman learned, during the adventure, that she had to undergo preventive chemotherapy. An ordeal that they spoke about to Karine Le Marchand during filming and on which they took stock, with good news, during the assessment.
Stéphane, in a relationship with another woman
Stéphane wanted to do L'amour est dans le pré for six years, before he registered. With his very selective criteria, the farmer had a precise, truly precise idea of the woman in his life. After speed dating deemed “catastrophic” by Karine Le Marchand, Stéphane had chosen Nathalie and Vanessa for the stay at the farm, but, from the start, he understood that it was not going to work, neither with the one nor with the other. Finding himself alone on the farm, by mutual agreement, Stéphane ended his adventure, single. But, surprisingly, he arrived on Nejma's arm. She had written to the show, but too late, and therefore sent her letter to him and it was love at first sight… Stéphane and Nejma now plan to settle down together on his farm.
Manuela, single
The ornamental chicken breeder had chosen Pierre and Didier to stay on the farm, but she had very little time to give them. Sensing that seduction would not be on the agenda, Daniel had left his farm very shortly after his arrival, while Pierre had hung on a little more, but for nothing. After a day together and a night of reflection, Manuela preferred to stay “amie“with her suitor who was, in turn, packing his bags. Arriving single, she felt like she hadn't sent the right signals and confided that she could have”stop as soon as mail is opened“. Today she is looking for someone “nice, pleasant, a little bubbly” pour “visit castles, see old stones“, she says with humor, but a touch of truth.
Karell, single
Karell had invited Alexandre and Claude to the farm, who she also quickly immersed in her somewhat military pace of life. Alexandre quickly decided to leave, having great difficulty coping with life as a threesome on the farm. Claude therefore tried to seduce Karell, but it didn't work, despite a week of vacation together off camera: “We weren't compatible at all when it came to intimacy, so we left it at that.“, she confided to Karine Le Marchand during the assessment. Single, the chicken breeder still believes in it and wants someone”who understands my job, loves animals and living in the countryside“.
Bruno, in a relationship with Clémence, his suitor
Made to be together, Clémence and Bruno fell in love during speed dating. An attraction which was confirmed during the stay on the farm and which quickly eclipsed Bruno's second suitor, Caroline. Finding each other very quickly, they were able to enjoy the first moments of their love story, between the summer on the farm and their weekend in Portugal. Now, they are ready to get married and have children in the next few years…
Mickaël, in a relationship with Nadia, his suitor
Registered for the show by his children, Mickaël melted many women, but chose Rozenn and Nadia during speed dating. The farmer had felt the obvious from the start for Nadia, but had waited a few days to tell her, especially after meeting her family and friends. Since then, the couple has taken several steps because, after meeting Nadia's son, then the romantic weekend, they moved in together at the end of the summer. It is therefore quite natural that they took another step during the assessment, since Mickaël proposed to Nadia in front of Karine Le Marchand! A very moving moment, which even brought tears to the presenter.
Gillou, single
The funniest farmer this season, sometimes despite himself, arrived single during the assessment with Karine Le Marchand. After welcoming Isabelle and Marie to the farm, his heart was leaning towards the latter and we thought they were off to a beautiful love story, but the distance separating Sarthe from the South of France got the better of their love. A breakup which took place shortly after Gillou's stay with Marie and which deeply saddened the latter: “I gave my all, I did everything necessary and I think that Gillou is not up to it, that he doesn't deserve me“. From now on, Gillou is looking for a woman who lives “a hundred kilometers maximum” from his home and who “likes to have fun” : “I accept a lot of things, apart from the distance“.
Brice, in a relationship with Marion, his suitor
Unsure of himself, Brice feared having difficulty opening his heart, but the latter spoke for him from the stay on his farm, with Marion and Mélanie. The salt worker actually fell in love with Marion, who lives in Barcelona, and it didn't take him much time to tell his two suitors. It was together that Brice and Marion arrived at the speed-dating, explaining to Karine Le Marchand that the young woman was planning to move soon, to settle down with Brice, and then, why not, have children…
Renaud, in a relationship with Anne, his suitor
A great friend of Gillou, Renaud had entrusted two very different women to the farm, but both of them were very kind, Murielle and Anne. While he was not trying to hurt anyone and especially not to make any differences between these two women who came for him, Renaud was able to be hurtful to Anne, even though she was his crush from the start! These awkwardnesses past, the farmer and his suitor began their love story at high speed, between sweet words and bursts of laughter, despite the fears of some of their loved ones. Anne left her region to settle in with Renaud.
Ludovic, in a relationship with another woman
Great romantic of this season Love is in the meadowLudovic dreamed of living his romantic comedy. Having received many letters, he finally chose to invite Mélanie and Manon, two intelligent, funny and bubbly young women, to his farm, who quickly asked him to make a choice, facing his “fifty-fifty” permanent. Ludovic's heart leaned towards Mélanie and the two lovers embarked on a love story worthy of a film, between big declarations and meetings with loved ones. But, very quickly, clouds appeared in this sky who nevertheless seemed so blue… So much so that Ludovic arrived single at the assessment He explained to Karine Le Marchand: “We have temperaments that are not made to be together. I wasn't comfortable, so I was clumsy, she was too hard on me, quite directive, very passionate, but there was no balance“. If it describes a “beautiful story“with Mélanie, Ludovic had just met another woman, Giulia, at the time of the assessment: “She's like me, she makes big statements“. Karine Le Marchand advises him not to get too carried away, but the winemaker already seems to be hovering on a new little cloud…
Pascal, single
Having received only two letters, Pascal was able to meet his speed-dating suitors directly and had, without a shadow of hesitation, chosen to continue the adventure with Murielle. Her arrival at the farm should have been the start of a beautiful story, but it got off to a bad start, because the fifty-year-old was very directive, before softening a little, feeling the annoyance growing in Pascal. During the assessment, Karine Le Marchand explains that Murielle, upon seeing herself on television, called the production to make her mea culpa, claiming that she did not know that she was “like that“. Despite this somewhat complicated start, Pascal gave Murielle a chance and they seemed to be off to a good start, but the latter decided to put an end to their relationship, reproaching Pascal in particular for lacking hygiene and not being in seduction on this second point, Karine Le Marchand pulls her straps a little: “You have to learn to seduce, to keep the flame alive in everyday life“. Single, Pascal is still waiting to find love.
Christophe, in a relationship with Yann, his suitor
Christophe's story touched many viewers when his portrait was broadcast in January. Indeed, he recounted how he had hidden his homosexuality for years, before no longer being able to hide who he really is. Wishing to live a beautiful love story, he embarked on the adventure with Yann and Guillaume, clearly having a crush on the second, but hesitating because of their age difference… Ultimately, it was with Yann that he decided to start a love affair and the two men arrived together at the assessment, facing Karine Le Marchand. Yann left the north of France to come and live with Christophe and everything seems to be going well between them!
