Now it’s time for serious things. While the 8th round of the Coupe de France delivered its verdict, Sunday evening, with a final victory (2-0) for the Girondins de Bordeaux against Herbiers, residents of N2, the draw for the 32nd finals takes place, this Monday at 7 p.m., live from the Parc des Princes. A new stage marked by the entry into the running of Ligue 1 clubs, and in particular that of Paris Saint-Germain, the title holder. As a reminder, 13 Ligue 2 teams including Bastia, Metz, Amiens, Caen and even Lorient, Mint winner (R1), are still present.

In terms of achievements: FC 93, a National 2 club, won the derby against Red Star on penalties (3-2), while Pau FC took the door against Saint-Philbert (N3) . Two amateur clubs which could now come across a major client, just like the 6 Regional 1 teams still involved. Note that the round of 32 matches will take place on December 21 and 22, 2024, with the round of 16 scheduled for a month later, in mid-January. The final will take place on May 24, 2025, at the Stade de France.
