1, 2 or 10 TB of cloud storage, for life
Tired of receiving messages about full cloud storage space? With pCloud, you only pay once and you have 1, 2 or 10 TB of storage space in the Cloud, for life.
It is important to note that only the Windows application is affected by this shutdown. The DeX standalone functionality, which allows you to transform a compatible Galaxy smartphone into a desktop experience by connecting it to an external screen, keyboard and mouse, will continue to be supported under One UI 7.
Samsung now recommends the use of Link to Windows as an alternative. This Microsoft solution offers similar functionalityalso allowing file transfer and access to smartphone data from a PC.
This announcement comes alongside other changes in One UI 7, including stopping support for third-party Edge Panel downloads from the Galaxy Store. However, panels already installed will remain accessible, although their user experience may no longer be optimal.
The One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, is expected to roll out in early 2024, after the launch of the Galaxy S25 series. A public beta is expected in December, allowing users to experience the many new features of this major update, including a smart notification center and a redesigned lock screen.
