With oil prices remaining at the same levels, domestic fuel prices are unchanged at the start of the week, a trend that could continue if oil levels remain unchanged.
This Monday, December 2, ordinary fuel oil is displayed at exactly 1.119 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.138 euros per liter. Whether for ordinary or superior, the prices displayed this Monday are almost at the same levels as those recorded on Sunday.
For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1.109 euros per liter. According to this online comparator also, today's rate is precisely the same as that observed for several days. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,118 euros on average for a purchase of 1000 liters. Also on this platform, the daily price is the same as that observed during the day on Sunday.
Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in France this Monday?
According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1080 euros on average for a purchase of 1000 liters. Conversely, it is in Champagne-Ardenne that the price is the highest, with 1145 euros for an order of 1000 liters. As such, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne amounts to 65 euros for a purchase of 1000 liters.
As for the evolution of domestic fuel prices in the coming days, it is difficult to predict the exact trajectory that these prices will take, because they depend on several parameters including oil prices. And for several days, the trend has been towards stability with regard to black gold prices. According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $72.42 this Sunday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $68.60 per barrel, i.e. prices similar to those observed in over the last few days. Concretely, the evolution of oil prices will therefore be decisive for that of domestic fuel oil in France, the increase in demand with the arrival of winter will also be very important.
