Her name is Svetlana D., she is 57 years old and is of Russian origin. Just a week ago, this fifty-year-old managed to escape all controls at New York's JFK international airport to board a flight to Paris, on a Delta Air Lines plane.
According to a spokesperson for the US Transportation Security Administration, the latter did not have a boarding pass and managed to evade two identity and boarding status check stations.
She then hid in the aircraft's toilet before the staff on board began to have doubts about her case.
A delayed return to the USA
But while this passenger was to be sent back to the United States this Saturday, November 30, she refused to board when an American police officer tried to handcuff her, before starting to scream, reports Le Parisien.
To American liaison officers, Svetlana D. claimed to have been poisoned with polonium by the Russian secret services, with the support of the Americans, report our colleagues who specify that medical examinations revealed nothing.
Now it remains to be seen when she will be able to return to the USA. Indeed, the latter has a green card, this document which allows you to live legally in the United States, although her Russian passport has no longer been valid since 2012.
