Verstappen goes to Qatar, Gasly 5th!

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) dominated the Qatar Grand Prix as boss, winning ahead of Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Oscar Piastri (McLaren). On the upward slope in recent weeks, Frenchman Pierre Gasly (Alpine) finished 5th.

Leclerc took advantage of the result of Lando Norris, 10th after a penalty, to come back to 8 points behind the Briton in the general classification. The two men will therefore compete for the place of vice-champion of the 2024 Formula 1 world during the final in Abu Dhabi in a few days.
