Christmas Fairies, it’s D-Day: here is the program for November 30

Top start for the Christmas Fairies with their official launch this Saturday, November 30. Stilt walkers and giant stuffed animals, Lollipop show, speeches, conviviality around chocolates and mulled wines… are on the program.

The end of year celebrations are fast approaching and with them the traditional Christmas Fairies of . To launch this warm and magical period, the City will meet in the heart of the city this November 30, from 4:45 p.m., on the Cours de la République, then Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville. This is the event not to be missed to immerse yourself in the world of Christmas. The entire heart of the city will light up with a thousand lights, making the Christmas decorations that adorn the streets, squares and emblematic sites of Narbonne sparkle, under the gentle gaze of the cubs and bears, mascots of the Féeries 2024-2025. Free activities open to all will give a taste of the weeks to come with a stroll, a show, a concert and a moment of conviviality.

As a reminder, all of the lighting is equipped with 100% low-consumption LED technology. This is how the City is mobilizing to respect energy efficiency efforts, while making 137,979 light points sparkle.

On the program: at 4:45 p.m.: departure of the stroll with stilt walkers and giant stuffed animals, from the top of the Cours de la République towards the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville at 5:15 p.m.: arrival of the stroll on the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville Town Hall and Lollipop show at the foot of the tree; at 5:30 p.m.: official launch by Bertrand Malquier, Mayor of Narbonne, surrounded by elected officials, followed by a moment of conviviality around chocolates and mulled wines offered by the City, on the Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville; from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.: Christmas carol concert with the Latino Lovers, on Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville.
