As a reminder, on February 28, 2024, Philippe Le Guillou had an altercation with an adult student whom he had asked to remove her veil within the premises of the establishment. The next day, several death threats were published online. An individual was sentenced, Friday, November 22, to a fine of 600 euros, to a five-day citizenship training course, and to pay 3,000 euros in damages to Philippe Le Guillou. Another defendant was tried this Thursday in Bourg-en-Bresse. In mid-March, another man arrested as part of this investigation was released. Concerning the student who the principal had asked to remove her veil, she had filed a complaint for violence. This was closed without further action for “insufficiently characterized offense”.
