Otto Addo takes responsibility for the Black Stars’ difficulties and promises to rebuild – GFA

In a frank acknowledgment of his team’s recent performances, Black Stars coach Otto Addo has decided to take full responsibility for the disappointing performances, as confirmed by the Ghana Federation (GFA).

Following the team’s failure to qualify for the next African Cup of Nations (CAN), Addo was called upon to submit a comprehensive report to the GFA Executive Council this past Wednesday.

The head coach developed an in-depth 56-page technical report, which was thoroughly reviewed by members of the Executive Council as well as the regional presidents of the Association. Addo responded to questions and clarifications regarding his report during the meeting.

In a statement released by the GFA on Friday, it was revealed that Addo had presented action plans to address the various challenges facing the team. He stressed the need for a disciplined and responsible framework aimed at instilling confidence not only among the players, but also with the support staff.
