The office and members of the Winestock festival met in a general assembly on Friday, November 15, in the Puyguillem room, in Thénac, to prepare the 2025 edition. This event brings together winegrowers, suppliers and service providers in the sector. wine.

As a preamble, President Pascal Cuisset took stock of the 2024 edition, which took place the last weekend of April. The young festival, created in 2023, “managed to attract many participants, especially on Saturday evening, thanks to the group Celkilt which ignited the public, and it brought many people, often from very far away, despite the deluge of rain that fell in the afternoon. Thanks to private and public partners and the catering division, the accounts turn out to be balanced, detailed the treasurer, Patricia Devier.

Festive rock

The members of the office, including vice-president Jean-Marc Piazzetta and Mathias Wauquier, the secretary, then unveiled the program for the third edition, which will take place in Monestier on April 25, 26 and 27, 2025: bandas, the DJ Balpores and concerts by the group Alchémist or Flagrands Délires who will liven up the festive rock evening on Saturday evening.

The Sunday lunchtime “bifteckade”, with entrecôtes/fries from local production, will be repeated and will allow older guests to enjoy the celebration. The wine fair will also be present throughout the duration of the festival, with discovery workshops and tasting initiations led by oenologists.

“Values ​​of wine”

Gastronomy will also occupy a very visible place with oyster bars, cheeses, quality catering and local products. “During this festival, without a spirit of competition and without competition, we will reaffirm our attachment to the values ​​of wine and rurality, synonymous with sharing, celebration and pleasant moments with friends or family,” concludes Pascal Cuisset.
