For this edition, fans will have the opportunity to vote for the winners of the Best FIFA Player award, both male and female, as well as the Outstanding Coaching Awards in both categories.
FIFA has revealed the list of nominees for the 2024 FIFA™ Best Football Awards, which will highlight the stars of the year in men’s and women’s football, taking into account club and national team performances. Voting is now open in various award categories on the FIFA website, according to a statement from the International Football Federation.
This year, fans can vote for the Best FIFA Men’s Player award, the Best FIFA Women’s Player award, the Best FIFA Men’s Coach award and the Best FIFA Women’s Coach award.
Additionally, fans will have an equal voice in voting for the Best FIFA Goalkeeper award and the Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award, alongside current captains and coaches of the men’s and women’s national teams, as well as media representatives.

FIFA has officially designated MetLife Stadium in New Jersey as the venue for the Club World Cup final.
This time, fans will exclusively choose the winner of the FIFA Fan Award, while a panel of experts will select the recipient of the FIFA Fair Play Award.
The winners of the new FIFA Marta Prize and the FIFA Puskás Prize will be decided by fans and a panel of FIFA Legends, with each vote having equal value.
However, the highlight of this year’s FIFA™ Best Football Awards is that fans will have the chance to participate in the selection of the Best FIFA Men’s and Women’s XIs.
Fans will be able to choose their players from a list of 77 nominees (22 defenders, 22 midfielders, 22 attackers and 11 goalkeepers) and match them to form their ideal teams. The votes of supporters will have the same value as those of a panel of experts.

The FIFA Puskás Prize will be awarded to the scorer for the best goal in men’s football, regardless of league or nationality. For the first time, the FIFA Marta Award, named in honor of the Brazilian legend, will be awarded to the best goal in any women’s league across the world.
The deadline for voting on FIFA.com is Tuesday 10 December, and the rules governing all prizes are available on the FIFA Digital Hub.
