“Excuse me for being a man…” : Pascal Praud castigates the 100% female jury of Miss France 2025

For the second year in a row, the Miss France committee has therefore decided to once again rely on a 100% female jury. From the Europe 1 studio, Pascal Praud invited Jean-Pierre Foucault, presenter of the ceremony, to react to it. After citing the names of the jurors, he said: “Excuse me for being a man, Jean-Pierre Foucault…”.

“I find it quite remarkable. It happened once and the young women who are on this jury will be able to decide, judge and place a crown on the head of the one who will be Miss France 2025 for a year . It’s not bad, isn’t it?”retorted the former emblematic host of Who wants to make millions? on TF1. An opinion far from being shared by Pascal Praud who continued to criticize the production's choice to rely on a new 100% female jury.

“Of course, but when I say to you 'excuse me for being a man…', I am a boy, I find that there is a bit of discrimination if you allow me”replied the one who put Aurélie Casse under pressure after her interview with Jordan Bardella. To which Jean-Pierre Foucault persisted and signed: “I don't think so, I think you're wrong. Now, if you want to, I can possibly intervene to put you on the jury. But I think you would stand out among all these beautiful young women…”.
