three high school students arrested for death threats against a teacher and his son

The three teenagers are suspected of threatening a teacher and his son. The threats were posted on a Snapchat group.

Three high school students were arrested as part of the investigation into threats against a teacher and his son in , the prosecutor's office said this Friday, November 29.

The three teenagers, two boys and a girl aged 15 and 16, were presented this Friday to the juvenile prosecutor's office for death threats “on the grounds of sexual orientation and written death threats against the person holding the public authority”, specifies the prosecution.

The latter also announces requiring placement under judicial supervision for one of the three adolescents, and an educational measure for the other two. “The requisitions include a ban on going to the school, a ban on coming into contact with the victims and a ban on carrying a weapon.”

Threats on Snapchat

The threatened professor was made aware of the facts through a screenshot of a chat group held on Snapchat. The photo of his son was shared there, and homophobic insults and death threats were made.

According to a source close to the investigation, the Snapchat group brings together all the students in the class, with the exception of the teacher's son, a final year student in the same establishment.

The teacher concerned filed a complaint after discovering the threats.
