Ile-de-France transport users will have to pay more in 2025. The price of the Navigo pass will increase to 88.80 euros on January 1stinstead of 86.40 euros currently, an increase of 2.40 euros, as reported by France Bleu , Thursday November 28. Ile-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) must propose this new price list for a vote by administrators on December 11.

This increase in 2,8% is part of the financial agreement concluded in September 2023 between the transport organizing authority in Ile-de-France and the government, which provides for moderate but regular increases in fares until 2031. The text stipulates that the increase for users must not exceed «l’inflation + 1%», “thanks to the increase in the contribution of companies with the Mobility Payment, the increase in contributions from communities at inflation + 2%, of which the region pays 51%”or 800 million euros.

Launch of the single tariff in 2025

The finance bill presented in October by the government based on a forecast ofinflation of 1.8% in 2025the suggested price increase therefore amounts to 2.8%. Furthermore, the new year will mark the launch of a single ticket valid on all metro, RER and train lines and in all zones, as indicated by Le Parisien. This will be sold at 2,50 euros each and 1.99 euros for Liberté + pass holders. For buses and trams, this single ticket will cost 2 euros.

In addition, a single rate of 13 euros will come into force for airport tickets (Roissy bus, Roissy RER, bus, Orly metro), as well as a single price for all zones of 29.90 euros for the Paris Visite package. Finally, the price of Navigo Jour (5 zones) will drop from 20.60 euros to 12 euros (single price excluding airports).
