Actions implemented for job seekers and employers
The CLPE was inspired by the “Full Employment” law aimed at reducing the national unemployment rate to 5% by 2027. In Sarthe, this rate rises to 7.2% (in the second quarter of 2024). Its mission: to translate major national guidelines into concrete local actions.
During this first meeting, two priority axes of the CLPE Sarthe Nord for 2025 were defined. To remove obstacles to employment and training, the CLPE will implement targeted actions: integration of illiterate job seekers, improvement of mobility in partnership with a platform in Sarthe and a contribution to the carpooling week, and raising awareness among job seekers about the childcare profession. At the same time, to support employers, the CLPE will provide proposals: support for skills development, promotion of professions and local businesses, and strengthening the visibility of the services offered by the Employment Network.
An “action plan” workshop is planned for mid-December 2024. We will start by evaluating the existing systems in place while continuing to support local initiatives
said the state representative. Sarthe Nord, with its six communities of communes and its varied economic fabric, is full of opportunities. We will work with business clubs to meet their concrete needs
added Anne Beauchef, regional advisor.
During the CLPE installation meeting, the co-presidents and all the partners, including the local mission, CAP emploi and France Travail, visited the NGI premises. This dynamic company, which has benefited from support from the Region allowing it to strengthen its local roots, has become a key player in the local economy. This partnership illustrates CLPE's desire to support local businesses and promote the economic development of the region.
