GNV Gaz'up stations open to Shell card holders

Shell and Enerjump announce a strategic partnership to accelerate the decarbonization of road transport in . This collaboration opens the Gaz'up station network to Shell card holders, offering hauliers easy access to a vast network of NGV stations across France.

Since November 28, 2024, carriers with the Shell card can use Gaz'up's 20 CNG stations. Distributed along strategic axes in France, they offer LNG and CNG.

More than 40 stations accessible with the Shell LNG card

For Shell, the integration of the Gaz'up network makes it possible to offer a network now made up of more than 40 stations in France, including 8 directly owned. Apart from Gaz'up, the Shell LNG card also gives access to the Molgas and Avia stations. On a European scale, nearly 200 stations are integrated into the network.

« After the opening of eight LNG stations in France before 2025, in line with the objective we had set ourselves, we continue to offer ever simpler solutions to accelerate the decarbonization of road transport. » explained Michaël Littière, Business Development Manager BIO LNG and biofuels France at Shell.

 

Expansion expected from 2025

This partnership with Shell offers transporters an additional system to facilitate the use of our stations with a common objective: to advance the decarbonization of transport » underlined Arnaud Bilek, Co-founder and Managing Director of Enerjump.

With already 20 stations in operation, Gaz'up plans to open eight new facilities next year. These will also be accessible via the Shell card, further strengthening its offer for professionals.

Gaz'UP's cooperative structure aims to make the NGV market more competitive to promote the use of Bio NGV in France and to develop short circuit production of Bio NGV.

Present for several decades in the development of Liquefied Natural Gas, Shell is now committed to deploying the first European network of NGV stations along the major roads and motorways of the European Union (TEN-T, trans-European transport networks).
