Her confidences about her daughter Aïcha for whom she missed an important moment, how does she experience her notoriety?

Aya Nakamura was the exceptional guest of Anne Elisabeth Lemoine in “C à Vous” this Thursday, November 28, 2024. She spoke about her eldest, for whom she is ready for anything, and in particular about the way in which she experiences her fame.

She lit up the Olympic Games this summer, during the opening ceremony where she sang alongside the musicians of the Republican Guard: Aya Nakamura was the guest of Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine in C to you. The opportunity for the star to look back on this important moment, the criticisms, but also on the way in which she manages both her career as an artist and her life as a mother, she who has two daughters: Aïcha, born in 2016 – whose father is unknown -, and Ava, born in 2022of his relationship with music video producer Vladimir Boudnikoff.

It was complicated for a woman to do two things at once. I felt a lot of anxiety, when you have children and you’re a woman it’s impossible to work. Sometimes we feel guilty. I hurt myself so I could move forward and have confidence in myself. It’s possible to be a mother and sing, I’ve been doing it for almost 10 years!“, she explained.

Aya Nakamura then looked at how her eldest experiences her notoriety: “Now she is 8 years old, she grew up at the same time as me, she has seen me evolve. So she doesn’t have the same relationship with fame as the last one (…) When she goes to school, her friends tell her ‘your mom did this on Snapchat, we saw you’ etc… It’s not the same, but she’s starting to realize it After all, she accompanies me, like during the Olympics, I think that as she grows up she will get even more used to it: Mom is a singer!

Aya Nakamura, devoted mother

In the process, columnist Mohamed Bouhafsi revealed to viewers that Aya Nakamura is a very present mother, as evidenced this day two years ago where she chose to go see Aïcha’s school show while at the same time she had rehearsals for her concert at Bercy with Alicia Keys. How do you know that?“, was then surprised by the singer, who was however able to form this duo on stage afterwards, as proven by the extract broadcast on the screen just afterwards.

An anecdote which proves the involvement of Aya Nakamura, both in her role as a mother and in her career as an artist. Which is very remarkable!
