Delphine Batho, deputy for the 2nd constituency of Deux-Sèvres, has been fighting for many years against telephone canvassing as well as against fraudulent calls. This Wednesday, November 27the environmentalist MP won a first battle against canvassers in the Economic Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.

The MP tabled an amendment aimed at prohibiting telephone canvassing during the examination of a proposed law on the fight against fraud. The amendment was accepted by the Commission, which makes it possible to envisage its full adoption by the National Assembly.

The Senate also validated this amendment

This validation by the Economic Affairs Committee of the National Assembly is a real step towards the adoption of this law. On November 14, the Senate had already voted in favor of this amendment.

All that remains is the result of the vote in the National Assembly which will be held on December 2.
