A motorcyclist died this Thursday, November 28, after a traffic accident in Calvi. The events took place around 10 a.m. at Intersport. The motorcyclist apparently lost control of his vehicle after trying to overtake a truck.
A strong emergency response system was deployed on site. It notably included a rescue and victim assistance vehicle, means of extrication as well as the emergency medical and resuscitation service.
In “absolute emergency”, according to the Haute-Corse fire and rescue service, when firefighters arrived, the man aged around fifty succumbed to his injuries a few dozen minutes later.
