It was in 2001 that viewers discovered Jenifer, a young woman aged 18, who won the first season of the Star Academy. With her complexes, the singer had a hard time coming to terms with herself. “I allowed myself to say no, because initially, when I'm coming to Star Ac', I don't really have a defined style. I was drowning in clothes, because I didn't really like my body.” she revealed in an interview with Current Woman. “I still don’t like him today, but that’s okay. I take responsibility for it more.” Jenifer remembers going through very difficult times: “In any case, at a certain time, I was really struggling. I was full of complexes. So, I trusted the person who was in front of me and who said to me: 'But it suits you , put this on, and everything.”

For many years, the artist, now 42 years old, had a hard time assuming her forms : “I wasn’t very complicated, I didn’t know how to say no to someone, for fear of offending or hurting them.
