Around 9:45 p.m., an ethanol heater literally exploded. Four people were injured in the explosion, two of them seriously, reports BFM.
Burned
Twenty-two firefighters were sent to the scene of the accident. The victims, burned, are aged 30 to 54 years old.
The circumstances of the accident remain unknown at this time.
Precautions
As a reminder, some heating devices should be used with caution. One of the main risks of domestic accidents in winter is carbon monoxide poisoning. It affects 4,000 households each year, including 500 people in Île-de-France. It causes around a hundred deaths per year.
