Incident during the landing of a Boeing 737 in Mirabel

A Nolinor Aviation Boeing 737 suffered an incident during landing at Mirabel airport earlier Wednesday.

The aircraft had to use landing gear in order to land at the Aérocité Internationale de Mirabel at 11:22 a.m. Wednesday.

On board were 87 passengers, as well as several crew members, all of whom were safe.

No injuries were reported by the airline.

The aircraft involved in the incident is a Boeing 737-400 registered C-GGWX.

The Nolinor Aviation company confirmed that emergency services had intervened quickly and that the situation was under control, thanking “the passengers for their calm and cooperation” during the incident.

All people on board were taken care of by the company’s team in Mirabel and the aircraft, for its part, must be removed from the landing strip.

The exact causes of the incident are not known at this time, but the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) is on site and began its investigation on Wednesday.

The TSB did not have any additional information to provide to the Journal and declined our interview request.
