“After 417 days of continuous aggression against Gaza, the population is experiencing an unprecedented catastrophic humanitarian situation. The offensive, which spared no aspect of life, led to the collapse of all vital infrastructure, from health to education, security and housing. The inhabitants, already subject to a prolonged blockade, today face multiple crises which worsen every day, transforming the Gaza Strip into one of the worst humanitarian tragedies in contemporary history.
Health crisis in northern Gaza
In the northern Gaza Strip, hospitals are on the verge of collapse. Medical infrastructures, seriously damaged by the bombings, can no longer meet the growing needs of the wounded and sick. Acute shortages of medicines and medical supplies are worsening patient suffering, forcing doctors to make heartbreaking decisions about treatment priorities in the absence of life-saving means. Medical staff work tirelessly in dire conditions, but exhaustion and a lack of resources make every day a real ordeal. Children, women and the elderly, who constitute a large proportion of victims, do not have access to appropriate medical care, leading to an alarming increase in preventable deaths.
The exodus of families: an endless ordeal

Incessant bombings have forced thousands of families to flee their homes in northern Gaza, leaving everything behind to seek shelter. The temporary camps that welcome them are overcrowded and lack basic infrastructure, transforming their daily lives into hell. With the arrival of winter, these families suffer from the freezing cold, their tents being regularly flooded by the rains. Children, who should find warmth and security in their homes, now find themselves exposed to the cold, without adequate clothing or blankets to protect them.
A surge in crime and violence
Amid this widespread destruction, violence and crime are increasing. Armed individuals, taking advantage of the chaos and lack of authority, commit acts of violence, including murder and theft. Every day, innocent people are targeted, whether in their homes or on the streets, while residents live in constant fear amid growing insecurity.
Southern Gaza: A worsening humanitarian crisis
In the southern Gaza Strip, the humanitarian situation is equally dire. Markets are almost empty due to the shortage of goods caused by the continued closure of crossing points and severe restrictions on movement. High prices of basic products exacerbate the suffering of families, who struggle to meet their basic needs. This economic crisis is aggravated by the practices of certain traders who exploit the situation to monopolize goods and increase prices, making life even more unbearable for the population. Many families now rely solely on humanitarian aid, which arrives in insufficient quantities and irregularly, leaving women and children particularly vulnerable to malnutrition and disease.
The displaced: between the cold and the floods
The displaced, who have fled conflict zones, live in makeshift camps deprived of basic services. Winter compounded their suffering, with incessant rains flooding their tents and leaving children and adults exposed to illnesses related to the cold and humidity. These families, who lost everything due to the attack, today find themselves faced with inhumane living conditions, without sufficient support to alleviate their ordeal.
Aggression as the main cause of the disaster

All these tragedies, from the north to the south of Gaza, find their origin in the continued aggression against the territory. The massive destruction of infrastructure, whether hospitals, schools or homes, has left residents without refuge or hope. The successive crises, whether the collapse of the health system, massive displacements, poverty or insecurity, are the direct consequences of this offensive which has spared no one.
Conclusion: A call for urgent international action
After 417 days of war, a true humanitarian disaster hits Gaza, threatening the lives of an entire generation. The population needs urgent international intervention to put an end to this aggression and address its humanitarian consequences. The world's silence in the face of this tragedy, which is getting worse every day, is unacceptable. Gaza needs not only immediate humanitarian aid, but also lasting solutions to restore the dignity and basic rights of its residents, allowing them to finally live in peace and security. »
