FOOTBALL – Another very tough evening for Kylian Mbappé. The Real Madrid striker had a disastrous match against Liverpool this Wednesday, November 27 in the Champions League, including a crucial missed penalty which could have allowed the Merengues to catch up with the Reds. The Spaniards lost the match 2-0.
Since his arrival at Real Madrid, his dream team, the captain of the France team has failed to shine. And this Wednesday against Anfield was particularly painful from a sporting as well as physical point of view, with a heavy fall on the head after a blow to the shoulder from Van Dijk in the 16th minute.
The shock made him do a roll in the air which was widely commented on and diverted on social networks, as you can see below. Some have compared her position, immortalized in a photo, to that of the Australian breaking dancer Raygun, mocked during the Paris Olympics for her unconventional dancing.

The image perfectly sums up Kylian Mbappé's entire match. After losing many balloons (15 counted The Parisian), he missed a penalty which would have allowed Real Madrid to come back to the score in the 61st minute after the first goal scored by Alexis Mac Allister (54th). You can (re)see this shot saved by goalkeeper Kelleher below.
It wasn't just the Bondynois who lacked luck and skill against Liverpool. Only 10 minutes after him, in the 70th minute, Mohamed Salah in turn missed a penalty which could still have been saving. The Merengues were once again punished in the 76th minute with a second English goal scored by Cody Gakpo.
This is the first time in 15 years that Liverpool have won a match against Real Madrid. If the English have thus achieved a fifth victory in five Champions League matches, the Spaniards have accumulated three defeats in five matches. A lackluster performance for the title holders, deprived of a multitude of potential starters including Dani Carvajal, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Rodrygo and especially Vinicius Junior, their top scorer.
