Last Tuesday, the CM2 class from Saint-Viateur school came to meet the elders of the village of La Rossignole, but being numerous, they had to make two groups… And as it was a beautiful afternoon, they reiterated this Tuesday, by “reversing the roles” and were all able to participate in the two planned workshops.
The first took place in the large room, where with the residents they made magnificent candles in natural wax, then in beeswax, nicely enhanced with multicolored glitter, a meticulous work for both young people and their elders, including the hands were for some a little clumsy at the beginning and for others, somewhat hesitant… before moving on to cooking and decorating.
As for the other group, they found themselves “at the Bistrot”: a slightly more intimate room, to create with their partners of the day, superb Christmas decorations and in particular little Santas and snowmen who forced admiration…
Great intergenerational meetings and a moment of sharing appreciated by all, which will be repeated in December, but this time, with the youngest of the school…
