“It was after 4 a.m.,” says Patrick, a local resident interviewed by Le Parisien. “I heard like a bomb exploding. I said ‘it’s the atomic bomb’.” Quickly, around 5 a.m., nearly 60 firefighters were engaged on site, including teams specializing in rubble rescue, and dogs and dog handlers, according to the firefighters.
