The Gatineau City Police Service (SPVG) is seeking to locate a vehicle of interest as part of its investigation related to a fire that raged in a residence on Brooks Street on the night of November 13.
During calls to 911, citizens reported hearing an explosion before the fire.
“The residence was empty at the time of the events and the fire caused no injuries,” we recall.
The investigation, transferred to the SPVG due to the suspicious nature of the events, made it possible to identify a vehicle of interest which is currently being sought.
The vehicle, seen near the corner of Brooks and Parker streets around 1:30 a.m., the same time the fire started, is a black pickup truck which could well be a Ford F-150. This would be a 2015 model or newer.
Police say the van may have a trailer hitch in the rear and the muffler is located behind the rear wheel on the passenger side. In addition, the noise of the vehicle suggests that it could have undergone modifications, we add.
Anyone with information enabling the location of this vehicle or the identification of its owner is invited to contact the SPVG info line at 819 243-4636, option 5.
