A French film at the top of the rankings. This week on Netflix, a feature-length action film “made in France” takes first place in the ranking of the most viewed non-English-speaking content on the platform, with more than 10 million views worldwide. This is “GTMax”, a muscular French production by Olivier Schneider. Director, screenwriter, actor, but above all stunt expert, Olivier Schneider is a well-known name in the film industry. With contributions to blockbusters like “Taken”, “Fast & Furious 6” and the James Bond films “Spectre” and “No Time to Die”, he brings his expertise to this spectacular film.
Impressive stunts and thrilling chases in Paris
In this feature film, spectators are immersed in the heart of the action thanks to impressive stunts, thrilling motocross and Tmax chases, and breathtaking fights. Filmed in iconic locations in Paris, such as the Bir-Hakeim bridge or Montmartre, these scenes offer a breathtaking visual experience. Olivier Schneider succeeds in capturing all the intensity of these moments, transporting the spectators as close as possible to the danger. The film tells the story of Soélie (played by Ava Baya), a former motocross prodigy whose career was shattered by a tragic accident. Now, she devotes her energy to training her brother Michael, a promising young talent. But when the latter falls under the influence of a gang of robbers using Tmax scooters to carry out spectacular thefts in the streets of Paris, Soélie is forced to plunge back into this environment that she had sworn to leave, in the hope to save his brother. Carried by Ava Baya, the film also shines thanks to a remarkable cast including Gérard Lanvin, Clémentine Célarié and Just Riadh.
Meanwhile, on the series side, “La cage” by Franck Gastambide continues to captivate spectators, remaining in first place in the French rankings for the third consecutive week. This series, centered on the world of MMA, seduces with its gripping fight scenes and its human and emotional treatment of the characters. For its part, “Arcane” hits hard with the release of the last three episodes of its season 2, available since Saturday November 23. The animated series, inspired by the world of the “League of Legends” video game, occupies second place in the French and world rankings with more than 6 million views.

Produced by Riot Games and the French studio Fortiche Production, “Arcane” established itself from its first season as a benchmark in animation. By combining a complex narrative, deeply developed characters and innovative artistic direction, the series has won over “League of Legends” fans and first-time viewers alike. This second season brilliantly concludes the story of Vi and Jinx, two sisters separated by tragedy, in a fresco where action and emotion blend perfectly. If these episodes mark the end of this chapter, it is not a farewell to the universe of “League of Legends”. In an interview on Twitch, showrunner Christian Linke confirmed that Riot Games and Fortiche Production are working on three new series. These will explore the emblematic regions of this universe, such as Noxus, Ionia and Demacia.
