Since then, many Internet users have given their support to the eliminated adventurer, as was the case last week after the departure of Ugo, pillar of Koh-Lanta, the cursed tribe. However, the day after his elimination, Jacques made a surprising confession to our colleagues at Tele-Leisure. Indeed, he simply revealed that he was relieved to leave.

Jacques says he is relieved

Few are the candidates for Koh Lanta who are delighted to leave the adventure. However, as surprising as it may seem, Jacques is one of them. He indeed revealed that he was relieved by his departure, because he was at the end of his strength: “I was so physically and mentally exhausted that I wanted it to stop. I was at the end of my rope. There are times when my body could no longer move forward“. But this general exhaustion is not the only reason for his joy at finishing the game.

A gift of life

In the columns of the media, the candidate also confided that he had already won his Koh Lanta. How ? By winning the Star, which was his major objective given the symbolism of this award: “My dad died in a car accident. Because of this accident, I couldn't be a principal dancer. And here I am who wins the Star of Koh-Lanta“. For Jacques, it is therefore a gift of life: “It's full of meaning and beauty (…) I am so proud to have won this event“.
