During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a house exploded in Saint-Loup-de-Naud (Seine-et-) for an undetermined reason.

When emergency services arrived, they found a seriously injured 35-year-old man in the street.

A little later, the lifeless body of a woman was found.

For an as yet undetermined reason, a one-story 100m² pavilion was completely blown away by an explosion on the night of Tuesday 26 to Wednesday 27 November, around 4 a.m.

Alerted, the emergency services found a victim in the street in absolute emergency, a 35-year-old man, who had facial wounds and an open fracture to his hand. The firefighters immediately began looking for a second occupant of the house. Four hours later, the lifeless body of a woman aged around 30 was found in the rubble.

The previous owner, a collector of explosive devices?

According to a police source, just after the incident, a resident immediately reported to investigators and emergency services that the former owner of the house, a collector of explosive devices and fireworks, had died in the explosion of his car in 2017. This information is currently being verified.

Mine clearance moved during the night to secure the area. The GRDF company, for its part, announced that there was no presence of gas after measurements.
