Weather report. What is the weather like this Wednesday, November 27 in Hauts-de-France?

Patience, the sun will return accompanied by a cooler air mass. But today, the menu of the day is rain, wind and mild weather for the period.

A depression is in fact circulating on the Channel, it is deepening on its way towards the Netherlands. The rains that arrived from the west during the night quickly spread across the entire region this morning. Rain then, but also wind ! Installed in the southwest this morning, its gusts can reach 80 to 90 km/h on the Channel coast, 50 to 70 km/h inland.

At midday the wind will shift to the northwest sector, strengthening in the north of the region with peaks of 70 to 80 km/h. On the sky side, the rains continue until the early evening, then they will head towards the southwest. Over 24 hours, accumulations will be of the order of 10 to 15 mm, locally 20 mm in the west of Pas-de-Calais, and 5 to 10 mm in the rest of the region. With the departure of the rains the wind will calm down and become moderate.

It's still relatively mild today, morning temperatures are between 6 and 6 degrees.

Homogeneity of maximums as well since our thermometers will display 11 to 13 degrees this afternoon.

Indeed, the sun returns but in a cooler air mass, and with the risks linked to winter anticyclonic conditions.

THURSDAY : first thing, the temperatures will be seasonal ! The minimums will be 3 to 5°C, the maximums 7 to 10°C. Sky-wise, finally a mild day with lots of sunshine and few clouds. Everything will be offered to you with the wind becoming weak again.

Friday : the challenges of this day will be the management of cloudiness. There is indeed a risk of mists or fogs especially in the east of the region, and perhaps some small frosts locally. Today's sky will certainly offer us a few more clouds than the day before. The wind will be from the southeast, it will be weak to moderate. Temperatures will therefore drop with 1 to 4°C in the morning (and therefore undoubtedly locally some negative values), the maximums will fluctuate between 6 and 9 degrees.

SATURDAY : for the last day of November, low level anticyclonic conditions will continue. Like the day before, we will have to manage the cloudiness, but let's hope for very beautiful appearances of the sun. If the minimums are identical to those of Friday, the maximums will lose a few degrees with only 4 to 6°C.

The rain and strengthening winds, with gusts, should further reduce the concentrations of pollutants emitted locally. However, air quality is expected to remain average due to persistent ozone concentrations. Little tip of the day from ATMO Hauts-de-France: to practice sports outdoors, prefer areas where road traffic is limited to breathe easier!
