A new season is approaching on Pokémon GO, which means an update to the GO Battle League. GO Combat League: Double Destiny

The GO Combat League: Double Destiny will start Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 10 p.m. CET. It will lead to the following events, as at the start of each season:

• End of Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
• Your ranking in the GO Combat League will be reset.
• The ranking conditions will remain the same as for the previous Season.

GO Combat League Program: Double Destiny

The following leagues will start and end at 10 p.m. CET on the dates listed in this section:

• December 3 – December 10 → Super League + Fantasy Cup: Super League Edition
• December 10 – December 17 → Hyper League + Fantasy Cup: Super League Edition
• December 17 – December 24 → Master League + Holiday Cup: Small Edition
• December 24 – December 31 → Ligue Super + Ligue Hyper + Ligue Master
• December 31 – January 7 → Super League + Holiday Cup: Small Edition
• January 7 – January 14 → Hyper League + Color Cup: Super League Edition
• January 14 – January 21 → Master League + Color Cup: Super League Edition
• January 21 – January 28 → Ligue Super + Ligue Hyper + Ligue Master
• January 28 – February 4 → Super League + Jungle Cup: Small Edition
• February 4 – February 11 → Hyper League + Passion Cup: Super League Edition

GO Combat Week: Double Destiny

Of Tuesday January 21 at 12 p.m. to Sunday January 26, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.the following bonuses will be active:

• Victories will earn 4 times more Stardust (excluding end-of-series rewards).
• The maximum number of sets you can perform per day will increase from 5 to 20, for a total of 100 fights, from midnight to 11:59 p.m. (local time).
• A free one-off Study on the theme of combat will be available. Rewards include Pieris-inspired shoes for your avatar.
• Pokémon encountered through GO Battle League rewards will have more varied Attack, Defense, and HP stats.

GO Combat League One-Time Study Pass

And Passe allowing access to a Occasional study on the theme of combat will be available for free in the in-game store, once the GO Battle League: Double Destiny has started. This Research will track your victories throughout the Season, and if you get 100, you will complete a page and earn Stardust as well as items such as an XL Super Candy, an Immediate Attack CT elite (400 victories) and an elite Charged Attack CT (500 victories).

Avatar items and other rewards

Players will be able to win avatar items inspired by Pieris, the dark member of Council 4 from the Unova region in the Pokémon Black and Pokémon White video games.

• At Ace rank, you will receive shoes inspired by Pieris.
• At Veteran rank, you will receive pants inspired by Pieris.
• At Expert rank, you will receive a Pieris-inspired top.
• At Legend rank, you will receive a Pieris-inspired pose.

Cups

The following cuts will be available this Season:

Fantasy Cup: Super League Edition

• Pokémon must not exceed 1,500 CP to participate.
• Only Dragon, Steel and Fairy type Pokémon are allowed.

Holiday Cup: Small Edition

• Pokémon must not exceed 500 CP to participate.
• Only Normal, Grass, Electric, Ice, Flying and Ghost-type Pokémon are allowed.

Color Cup: Super League Edition

• Pokémon must not exceed 1,500 CP to participate.
• Only Fire, Water, Grass and Electric type Pokémon are allowed.

Jungle Cup: Small Edition

• Pokémon must not exceed 500 CP to participate.
• Only Normal, Grass, Electric, Poison, Ground, Flying, Bug and Dark type Pokémon are allowed.

The following Pokémon will not be able to participate:

• Scorplane
• Limonde de Galar

Passion Cup: Super League Edition

• Pokémon must not exceed 1,500 CP to participate.
• Only red or pink Pokémon are allowed.

Master League: Mega-edition

• No PC limits.
• Mega-Evolved Pokémon are allowed.

The exchange time in the GO Combat League will always be 50 seconds. This change will also persist for Trainer Battles against your friends and those against Team GO Rocket’s Minions and Leaders.
