This is a historic moment for Dijon. The Young Socialists of the Côte-d'Or warmly congratulate Nathalie Koenders, newly elected mayor of Dijon. By accessing this position, Nathalie Koenders becomes the first woman to lead the city, a victory which symbolizes not only a big step towards equality, but also a significant advance for the representation of women in politics.
This election marks the end of 23 years in office for François Rebsamen, whom the Young Socialists would like to thank for his unwavering commitment to serving the people of Dijon. His action was decisive in transforming Dijon into a dynamic, united, ecological and innovative city, where everyone finds their place. Under his governance, Dijon underwent a true metamorphosis, becoming a model of modernity and solidarity.
Among its most emblematic achievements are the petonization and security of the historic center, which made the heart of the city more lively and welcoming. The Dijon tramway has become an essential symbol of sustainable mobility, making everyday travel easier. The Zénith and the renovation of the Museum of Fine Arts have made Dijon a major cultural hub, while the university campus, with its 40,000 students, contributes to strengthening the attractiveness of the city.
Under the leadership of François Rebsamen, Dijon has also been able to focus on inclusion and equity, by renovating neighborhoods long abandoned by previous majorities. Access to culture and sport for all has been placed at the heart of its policy, established as a true pillar of living together. It is a booming city that François Rebsamen leaves to his successor, faithful to the values of social justice, ecology and shared progress.
The Young Socialists of the Côte-d'Or are enthusiastic at the idea of seeing Nathalie Koenders continue this dynamic. Its vision is part of the continuity of an ambitious and progressive policy, with a city that listens to its inhabitants, attentive to young people and committed to a sustainable future. The Young Socialists are committed to supporting the new mayor in her actions to make Dijon an even more united and environmentally friendly city.
With Nathalie Koenders, Dijon will continue to be a city where everyone can flourish with dignity thanks to bold and innovative social policies. A student city, welcoming and open to young people, where conditions are conducive to the success and future of all. And above all, a city where ecology is fully integrated into all public policies, to build a sustainable future.

The Young Socialists of the Côte-d'Or would like to warmly congratulate Nathalie Koenders on her election as mayor of Dijon. By becoming the first woman to hold this position, she marks a historic moment for our city and embodies significant progress for equality and the representation of women in politics.
We also extend our most sincere thanks to François Rebsamen for the years dedicated to serving the people of Dijon. Under his governance, for 23 years, Dijon has transformed into a dynamic, united, ecological, innovative city for all where no one is left out.
With his teams, he orchestrated the metamorphosis of Dijon, transforming our city into a model of modernity and solidarity. This transformation is illustrated by a historic center that has become pedestrian and safe, making the heart of Dijon more lively and welcoming; an emblematic and essential tram that promotes sustainable mobility; the Zénith, which has become an essential place for culture and major events in the same way as the renovation of the Museum of Fine Arts; a university campus bringing together more than 40,000 students, thus strengthening the attractiveness of the departmental and regional capital; expanded access to culture and sport for all, true pillars of living together; and finally, the renovation of neighborhoods abandoned by the right before 2001, making Dijon a more inclusive and equitable city.
Thanks to his commitment, François Rebsamen leaves a city in full swing, faithful to its values of social justice, ecology and shared progress.
Under the leadership of Nathalie Koenders, Dijon will continue this ambitious and progressive dynamic. The new mayor will be able to count on the determination and support of the Young Socialists of the Côte-d'Or to continue to make Dijon a city for all; a student city, where young people find conditions conducive to their development and their future; a city where everyone can live with dignity, thanks to bold social policies; and a city where ecology is fully integrated into all public policies, to build a sustainable future.
Together, we will continue to uphold the values of social justice, equality and ecology that make Dijon an exemplary city.
