“There must be (…) a discussion, a decision. There could also be a vote,” she added, suggesting that cabinet members were not yet all aware of the content of the agreement. “Cabinet members know some of the details and need to go into more detail this afternoon,” she said.

According to the American news site Axios, the ceasefire agreement is based on an American project providing for a 60-day truce during which Hezbollah and the Israeli army would withdraw from southern Lebanon to leave the army Lebanese deploy there.
