The jury also awards a special prize rewarding a document (essay, story, etc.) or a comic strip. In collaboration with bookstores and cultural partners, an off-site program extends the presence of the prize and its winners throughout the year.

The announcement of the 5 finalists will be made at the end of January 2025. The jury, co-chaired by Jean-François Carenco and Jean-Laurent Lastelle, is made up of personalities, writers, journalists, booksellers and artists: Jean-Marie Blas de Roblès, Maritsa Boghossian, Sophie Brocas, Sorj Chalandon, Françoise Cloarec, Kerenn Elkaïm, Raphaëlle Epstein-Richard, Isabelle Hausser, Emmanuel Hoog, Nathalie Jakobowicz, Jean-Marc Levent, Sarah Moon, Ernest Pignon-Ernest, Christian Schiaretti, Béatrice Soulé.
Last year, the Literary Prize was awarded to Itamar Vieira Junior for his novel Charrue Tordue (ed. Zulma) and the Special Jury Prize to Beata Umubyeyi Mairesse, for Le convoy (ed. Flammarion).
