The former general director of Dalloyau takes the reins of the company Thés de la Pagode

PORTRAIT – Marie-Charlotte Familiadès wishes to strengthen the notoriety of the SME Thés de la Pagode in order to attract new customers and ensure the sustainability of the brand. The new boss is targeting 12 million euros in turnover, compared to 8 million currently.

Marie-Charlotte Familiadès imagined herself an architect. Failing that, for twenty years she has been able to exercise a talent as a renovator in the companies where she has worked. She now takes on the presidency of Thés de la Pagode, a family SME which achieved 8 million euros in turnover in 2023.

As a child, the Biarrote woman followed her mother, owner of a clothing store, to ready-to-wear salons in . The design appealed to her, but her rational parents dissuaded her. She ultimately opted for commerce, in which she became interested through the numerous trips she made with her family. « To my 8 years ago, we left for a year-long world tour. On our return, we flew each winter to a new destination »she remembers.
