L'Emporte-Pièces, an amateur theater company, will give a performance of its latest creation entitled “Faim de vie” on the stage of the Archipel in Fouesnant, on Sunday December 8, for the benefit of the Restos du coeur de Quimper. This is the fourth year that the actors of the Forest troupe have dedicated an evening to the Quimper humanitarian association. Without a second of hesitation, as Claire Le Meur, the company's kingpin, explains.
“It is first of all a tribute that we want to pay to the team of volunteers from the Restos du coeur quimperois as well as to all those in the department,” explains Claire Le Meur. It is also our way of participating concretely in the action of this association. » In 2023, the performance of “The Island of Slaves” by Marivaux resulted in a donation of €1,230.

This year, the troupe will perform “Faim de vie”, a text written by Jean-Jacques Salager, for which it will also be their first directing experience. “He talks about life in nursing homes. It is a committed text which also pays tribute to the healthcare teams and the people who work in these places, comments Claire Le Meur. The piece alternates thirteen sketches. Some heavy and some lighter. » Because in its theatrical purpose, the amateur troupe also wants to modestly build another space for reflection on societal subjects. “We gave the premiere at Nautile in November in front of 232 people. The feedback is rather positive. »
