The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) is carrying out research on Tuesday morning on the banks of Mille-Îles in Laval to elucidate a murder committed in August 2022 in Montreal North.
“This research will be carried out in the context of the 19th murder committed on the territory of the island of Montreal during the year 2022,” indicated the SPVM.
The research is being carried out in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec, according to the SPVM publicist who will be present at the roundabout on rue de la Pointe-Langlois for the media.

The facts date back to August 10, 2022 when two men who were chatting in the parking lot of a high school on avenue P.-M.-Favier were the targets of gunfire.
One of the two victims, a 26-year-old man, was transported to the hospital where he died of his serious injuries, while the suspects fled.
Projectile impacts on parked vehicles and shell casings on the ground were also located, according to the SPVM.
