The “Côte-d’Or Terres d’avenir” group enthusiastically welcomes the historic election of Nathalie Koenders as the first female mayor of Dijon. Nathalie Koenders, with her commitment to serving citizens and her experience as a departmental councilor since 2015, brings a breath of fresh air to the leadership of the Burgundian capital.
As a member of the group Côte-d’Or Lands of the future“Nathalie Koenders has distinguished herself by her keen sense of responsibility and her concrete action to improve the daily lives of Côte-d'Oriennes and Côte-d'Oriens. Its commitment to the balance of territories, whether rural or urban, and its constant concern for the general interest are valuable assets to face the challenges that Dijon will face in the years to come.
The group also extends its most sincere thanks to François Rebsamen, outgoing mayor, for the 23 years of service which helped transform Dijon spectacularly. Since 2001, Dijon has undergone a real metamorphosis, going from a regional city to a metropolis shining on the European and international scene. François Rebsamen was able to instill an ambitious vision, promoting the development of cooperation between the metropolis and the surrounding rural territories, thus strengthening the economic and social link within the Côte-d'Or department.
Despite this change in leadership, the cooperation does not stop there. The “Côte-d’Or Terres d’avenir” group is delighted to continue working with François Rebsamen, who remains president of the Dijon metropolis. His presence at the head of this key body will contribute to the continuity of projects and the development of the Dijon metropolis.

We warmly congratulate Nathalie Koenders, first woman elected mayor of Dijon. Nathalie Koenders has been elected departmental advisor within our Côte-d'Or Terres d'avenir group since 2015. Alongside her, we were able to appreciate her sense of responsibility and the relevance of her action to improve the daily lives of all Côte-d'Or. 'Oriennes and the Côte-d'Oriens.
We extend our sincere thanks to François Rebsamen for these 23 years of work which have led to a real transformation of the city of Dijon since 2001 that everyone has been able to measure. 23 years which have led our metropolis to shine today at the European and international level.
23 years which have made it possible to strengthen cooperation between the metropolis of Dijon and rural areas. We will continue to work in close collaboration with François Rebsamen as President of the Metropolis. We know how to count on the human qualities of Nathalie Koenders to face the challenges of tomorrow.
