Every day of the week, since last August, Jean-Baptiste Marteau presents the morning show on Franceinfo. He would have gladly taken over the controls of Telematin on France 2with the departure of Thomas Sotto, but it was Julien Arnaud who was finally chosen. Which wouldn’t have been that easy for him to manage. “I have just learned that I will not be at the Télématin presentation this season. Until very recently, however, everything suggested to me that this would be the case. However, the group ultimately made a different decision. I cannot hide from you my great disappointment which, for the moment, I am unable to digest.”, he reacted, he who commented on the equestrian events this summer, during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
An event that his daughter Colette, born from her previous marriage to Bruno Loup, was impatiently awaiting. On the set of Buzz TVhe has just confided as rarely about his life as a father. Revealing in particular to our colleagues that his little princess has the right to watch him “5 minutes every morning. An opportunity she never misses: “Sometimes she holds back words, the other time she says to me ‘you said Gabriel Attal, who is daddy?’. And then we have to explain it to her… Not easy 5 years! But she’s already set on everything stuff.” At the same time, he spoke about the education he wishes to pass on to her.

“I try to listen. Which is the most difficult because it is indeed easy to know what the needs of your children are. I think we all make mistakes when we are parents (…) I can be quite harsh on certain points. Because there are rules that are non-negotiable. And there are things that you have to know how to let go of and have a good time. I love taking him to see shows.. I love to share it, so that it has an open mind as much as possible. We read as much as possible.” And when asked if Colette is a future budding journalist, he simply answers this: “She will do what she wants!“
As a reminder, Jean-Baptiste Marteau is no longer a heart to take. This summer he decided to reveal for the first time the face of his new companion, namely Jean de Reynal. Recently, in October, the two lovebirds treated themselves to a romantic weekend in Greece, just to unwind.
