The big Black Friday week is here. The sensational offer undoubtedly concerns the PlayStation 5. To the great surprise of gamers, Sony has exploded the price of its PS5! It’s quite simple, since its release, Sony’s next-gen console has never been so attractive since it can now be found at less than 400 euros for its cheapest version, the Digital Edition version. These offers began on Friday, November 22 on the PlayStation Store but also at authorized resellers. But be careful, they will only last until December 2, that is to say for only 10 days!
The PS5 Pro, criticized when it was released at the start of the school year for its price (799 euros) is not affected but it is the only one. The PS5 Slim Digital Edition now drops below 400 euros, 374 euros precisely when the PS5 Slim with Blu Ray player goes from 549 euros to 475 euros… Never seen before! Also note the arrival of a new pack combining PS5 Slim and DLC advantages for Fortnite, called the Cobalt Star pack.
The PS5 is available in several versions: Standard, Slim and Pro. The Standard was the very first generation, followed by the Slim version (finally smaller) and the more powerful Pro version presented at the start of the 2024 school year. Each console therefore has its price. The cheapest PS5 console remains the so-called “Digital” version which does not have a disc reader and which only allows you to play by downloading your games from the internet. This is also the case for the much more expensive PS5 Pro, which caused people to cringe at the release of this boosted console at a very “premium” price… The PS5 Digital is now below the 400 mark euros with a better price at 374.99 euros at Sony and resellers, compared to 474 euros for the Slim version with Blu-Ray player.
What are the prices of the new PS5 Pro?
We should probably not expect very big promotions on the new PS5 Pro, released at the start of the 2024 school year. Merchants could, however, offer some packs and special offers, with accessories such as a 2nd controller included. The “official” price displayed is 799 euros.
